Who needs Political Party Politics in local government.???

Postby Hugo »

What a great shame the Lib/Lab council leaders did not resign his would have saved the eletorate the duty of doing for them at election time.
In fact its not to late the whole of the Council should resigm with immediat effect, and give the electorate a chance to clean up and clear out the Council completely. We need to remove Political Party Politics from local government. Lets have a complete council of representatives who listen to the electorate and act on their behalf, not the party whips.

It does seem increasing likely that the present Lib/Lab co-ilition is stumbling from crisis to crisis with a series of unpopular decisions. Any elections Local or National the Consevatives will walk all over any sort of opposition, and that cannot be a good thing for anyone.
