This article did not surprise me in the least. I had the misfortune to spend time in this bar last year with a group of friends.
I have NEVER felt such a sense of unease when entering a pub as I did on that night. The second we walked in,I wanted to leave,but was outvoted by my companions. The music was thumping so loud I could actually feel it through my whole body,and we had to shout to order drinks at the bar.
The air was thick with aggression and the clientels seemed to mainly consist of under age girls wearing very questionable outfits and the glazed expression that one assumes comes from taking drugs. There were questionable antics going on in a cubicle in the toilets that appeared to involve members of the opposite sex.
The next minute a huge fight broke out between 2 men,and they both came barging to where we were standing whilst grappling with each other.
Needless to say we got out as soon as we could and I for one am glad it has been shut down-it seemed to be a right den of iniquity. Good riddance and don't allow it to reopen!
