Royal Northern Sinfonia
Steve Reich Triple Quartet
Philip Glass Violin Concerto No.2
There’s hardly an area of contemporary culture that hasn’t been touched – and transformed – by the music of Philip Glass. Fellow-minimalist Steve Reich’s Triple Quartet is a 20th century landmark: a vibrant upbeat to the Violin Concerto that Glass imagined as an ‘American Four Seasons.’
Doors open at 7pm. There will be one 20-minute interval during this performance.
Tickets ordered for collection will be available at Wylam Brewery from 6.45pm on the evening of the concert.
Please be aware from 12noon on the day of the performance, tickets will only be available to purchase on the door at Wylam Brewery – subject to availability.
There is no vehicular access permitted through Exhibition Park to the brewery, other than for the mobility impaired. There are a limited number of disabled parking bays, access to which must be pre-arranged. To pre-arrange access please email firstname.lastname@example.org
If travelling by Car, the nearest Public Car Park is on Claremont Road and is free after 6pm.
